Description
Mr. Evins joined Hoag Memorial Hospital (HMH) Administration as a VP after serving the for two years as an outside consulting architect with B&A. The projected growth needs beginning with the purchase of the undeveloped 22 acre lower campus in 1985 began a period of rapid expansion. Under his leadership he provided a master plan for 25 years growth and development for the newly expanded main campus and many noteworthy Centers, Clinics and MOB’s buildings both on and off the main campus site. HMH facilities comprised about 375,000 gsf when he joined the staff in 1984 to over a projected (approximately)+/- 2,000,0000 gsf in 2010. Several award-winning facilities, Cancer Center, OP Centers (4), Emergency Centers, Women’s Center, Cogen/Powerplant, LDR’s (first in CA)
